If you don’t already have a website, there are plenty of easy DIY options.
Before you start make:
- Spend some time reviewing other websites to see what you like
- Make a list of the different pages you want on your site
- As above, consider your target market. How are you best to speak to them? What kind of vibe do you want to create? What language will suit?
- Decide what you want your website to do for you. An online brochure of your services? Contact information? Booking page? Sell Products? Make a list of the things you need to achieve your goal.
Find images that fit your theme, customer and needs. You can’t just sue any images as many have copyright attached. You can use your own, or pay for the licence at various sites. These include https://www.fotolia.com/ OR https://www.istockphoto.com/. For these your need to create an account and pay for these images. Or you can find royalty-free and free to use images at https://buffer.com/library/free-images/
Now write the content. The words that you want on each page. Type it into a word document and edit away.
Website creation time! You need to have your text and images ready. The below video is from GoDaddy, but most website have a great ‘how to’ video like this one. So, Google away.
