Stress Management: Techniques for Living a Healthier Life

This course is designed to help individuals develop effective strategies for managing stress and promoting overall health and well-being. Students will learn about the physiological and psychological impacts of stress, as well as various stress management techniques, including meditation, exercise, deep breathing, and time management. The course will also cover topics such as mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, and goal setting to help students develop a personalized stress management plan.

Course Requirements:

  • Basic computer literacy and internet access
  • A willingness to explore and experiment with new stress management techniques
  • Approximately 2-3 hours per week of dedicated study time

Assessment and Grading:

This course will be assessed by completing activities and writing submissions for each module.  Submissions are evaluated as complete/incomplete, allowing students to revisit if required.  Students must complete all assignments and quizzes to receive a passing grade.
